Maybe you don't. (Though after seeing how amazing it makes a person- *cough, me- you will)
You know what! It doesn't matter if you do or do not write, these songs will help you do whatever it is you puny, not me, people do.
Let's get started.
The scientist- Coldplay
(WHY IS IT CALLED THE SCIENTIST? Oh well, great song)
Perseverance- Michele Mclaughlin
(This dudes last name sounds like laughing... Lol)
River flows in you- Yiruma
(My all time favorite classical piece; beat cannon by an inch!)
Monody/Unity- Fatrat
(Two songs here... Little different from the rest of the list because he's EDM)
Faded- Alan Walker
(Also EDM but not so much as Fatrat)
She will be loved- Maroon 5
(When I have a Girlfriend in the future, this is what I will play for her to make her feel special... Also, I WILL HAVE ONE SOMEDAY FRANK! Sorry, that was for my older brother; love this song.)
Jetplane- By John Denver
(I listen to the Peter, Paul and Mary version.)
This land is your land- Peter, Paul and Mary
(I would love this song more if they didn't say "This land is my land" after they say "this land is your land"... WHEN WILL YOU PEOPLE LEARN THAT "THIS LAND" IS ONLY MINE?!)
The lakes of Pontchartrain- Loreena Mckennitt
(I had to spell her name five times before I got it right... Finally just looked it up)
Sleep like a baby tonight- U2
(I love many U2 songs but this my is number 1)
Professer Layton theme- Tomohito Nishiura
(Also a great game)
No doubt I will find more so go back to this post every so often... 'till then- Y
I didn't know any of the artists you listed until I got to John Denver...and I think I'm a better person for it! - Grandpa
ReplyDeleteI knew not one of them except Maroon 5. Can't wait to expand my musical listening list thanks to you!
ReplyDeleteHe has eclectic taste but I like most of what he and the other boys listen to.
DeleteWhenever I'm writing, studying,or reading I can only listen to music with no words or even any real tune so to speak. My mind starts trying to focus on actually playing the music if it's got a tune or words. So, in general, I set Pandora to some weird house music channel with no words and tune it out.
ReplyDeleteHe chooses many songs with no words too - but he also does not play an instrument quite like you do
